Valentine’s Day is exactly 4 weeks away! Can you believe it? It might seem like a bit aways but I promise you it will sneak up on us and be here before we know it. That’s why I’ve gotten a jump start on my Valentine’s Day planning this year with this post on Valentine’s Day for You and Your Littles along with my post from last week on how to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a New Baby + Baby Valentines Finds. I also went ahead and ordered Valentines for Rowan to pass out to his little classmates at preschool and ordered these choo choo train Valentine cards and these wind up trains along with these bags and this ribbon to wrap his cards and trains in. Cutness overload!
The holidays were such a welcome dose of joy this year and I was honestly extra sad to see them go. I think that’s why I feel more excited for Valentine’s Day this year than usual! 2021 marked my first Valentine’s Day as a mother so this year feels special too because Rowan is a year older and more engaged in the world around him. For Valentine’s Day in 2020, we knew we were pregnant but little Rowan still felt like something far off in the distance. Each Valentine’s Day feels like a new dose of love with my family. I’m so excited to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my sweet little growing valentine this year and to show love to him in every way possible! I honestly could not ask for a better Valentine’s Day duo than Edwin and Rowan. How did I get so lucky to have the two best boys?!
Valentine’s Day For You And Your Littles
This year, instead of creating a Valentine’s gift guide for her, I decided to expand my gift guide and create a gift guide for Valentine’s Day for you and your littles! This post has everything from Valentine’s Day pajamas to dreamy home goods to creative crafts to sweet treats. I included lots of ideas for your kiddos to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember with items that kids love. The items for littles in this post are focused on toddlers through kids ages (for baby Valentine recommendations, head here). I also have a handful of lovely ideas for you. Hint, hint: pass this post on to your love if they need gift ideas for you!
I hope you enjoy my gift guide for Valentine’s Day for you and your littles! If you don’t have a little, don’t fret. There are a ton of items in this guide for you that I know you’ll love! What do you have your eye on for Valentine’s Day this year? I’d love to hear if you think I forgot anything! I’m still formulating what I should do for Edwin but I have a few ideas for little things around the house and yard that I think would bring a smile to his face. Share all your brilliant ideas!
Because moms deserve a little love too! These super soft pima cotton heart pajamas are so sweet for moms this Valentine’s Day. Little English made matching pajamas for little girls and babies as well as coordinating pajamas for little boys… so precious!
I can’t imagine cuter pajamas for baby boys than the ‘Racing Hearts’ themed jammies and playsuit from Little English (click ‘shop now’ for both)! They are incredibly sweet and the car motif is adorable for baby boys. Rowan just loves his from last year (last year the print was airplanes, as seen in the photos in this post)… I’m biased but isn’t he the cutest in them!?
Every new season from MILLE is filled with beautiful dresses and blouses that I can’t get enough of! This particular dress has my heart because it is the perfect pink and red print. I am always a sucker for pinks and reds together! So so sweet.
This pink and red dress would be so cute on a little girl for Valentine’s Day. A little gal would be precious coordinating with mom in the floral MILLE dress I just recommend. I like a coordinating but not matching look.
This stripe shirt is a wonderful way for moms to coordinate with their favorite little men this Valentine’s Day or to just get your boy dressed and festive for the holiday. A classic button-down that can go from school to the playground.
Mi Golondrina has such a lovely, whimsical, floral Valentine’s Day collection this year (including this dress). I absolutely adore their midi shift dresses – they are the easiest to throw on and feel great in. The hand embroidered detail on all their dresses is what really sets them apart too.
This a timeless women’s swimsuit is an instant classic and so flattering! This one piece is effortless and chic for poolside with your littles or family time at the beach. Plus, you can coordinate your kiddos!
Fit to perfection, with a large brim for plenty of coverage, these double-lined cotton sun hats are protective without being overbearing. They are finished with thicker ties for the perfect bow and come in a handful of colors and prints.
This one piece for girls is practically perfect in every way! The sweet floral print is a beautiful addition to your girl’s closet. Minnow suits are comfortable enough for littles to play in them all day long.
Bow sash, embroidered hearts, ruffle details… need I say more? This dress is absolutely adorable for big girls! I’m picturing sweet little gals wearing this dress while eating heart shaped sandwiches on Valentine’s Day.
This dress is so sweet for a dressed up Valentine’s Day! If you have a little girl, how lovely would it be to get dressed up together and have a Valentine’s Day tea at home? Bonus: this dress will work wonderfully for Easter too so your girl can wear it again this spring before growing out of it!

This gingham pant set is the perfect outfit for your handsome little Valentine!
I love the tractor and hearts applique paired with the adorable gingham pant. Your little man will be comfortable all day long in this play set.

This sweater embroidered with delicate diamonds, hearts, and four leaf clovers with the addition of pretty ruffles and stunning pearly buttons is just dreamy. It is too cute for little gals on the go this Valentine’s Day and spring season.

I can vouch that Weezie makes the BEST robes. I have this short robe version in another patterned print and am obsessed with it. Don’t forget, these can be personalized! So cute to match your little or as a gift to grandma for Valentine’s Day.
The darling heirloom lovies from Parterre could be for babies or kiddos but either way they are the perfect treat for your favorite snuggly little girls. They are handmade in a velveteen organic cotton with hand-embroidered details and meant to be loved by your little ones daily. P.S. They come in 3 beautiful prints.

There’s no need to sacrifice style over comfort with these Olivia Morris’s signature House Slippers. In sumptuous cotton velvet, trimmed with an oversized bow, I have big heart eyes for these slippers.
This is one of my favorite children’s books! I always loved reading it to my students and can’t wait for Rowan to understand the meaning behind it. It is all about how our hearts can feel so many feelings. It’s a really beautiful book for littles! I also always recommend gifting classic books for any occasion, Valentine’s Day included. It’s hard to beat Guess How I Love You by Sam McBratney or The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
Rowan’s two obsessions are cars and animals (mainly “doggies”) so you can imagine how a book series about these two very things is a huge hit in our house. The Valentine’s book within the Little Blue Truck series is just as sweet as all the others!
This book! Oh my goodness, trust me when I say this is a must-read! Read this book around Valentine’s Day and I promise you will feel inspired to spice up your love life. I read this book in two days and loved every single moment of it. You can thank me later for this recommendation!
I am currently reading this love story about Lucy and Gabe and completely devouring it! I love the point of view it is written from and their star-crossed lovers story. I can’t speak to the ending yet but so far, I highly recommend it!
Hudson & Steeple curates beautiful luxury gift boxes so I can’t wait to see what they have up their sleeve for Valentine’s Day. Last year, they had 6 Valentine’s boxes to choose from catered to foodies, tea lovers, and more. So, I’m hoping this year’s are just as fantastic!

I’m not going to lie, I have a wishlist full of Irene Neuwirth, Sophie Joanne, and Brent Neale jewelry but this gorgeous and completely affordable ring (in comparison to the other jewelry designers) designed by BY ALONA has my eye. The ring is handmade in London, giving it a timeless yet artisanal aesthetic. I think it’s a simple yet really special piece of jewelry!

If you’ve never had a cake from Caroline’s Cakes, then you’re in for the ultimate treat. They are the most divine cakes with the best flavor. This pink champagne cake is a Valentine’s Day match made in heaven. Is so light and airy, it pops! Four layers of pink champagne cake are iced with buttercream… yum!
My favorite bakery, Persephone Bakery, makes the most delicious sweet treats. I can personally attest to how wonderful their cookies are. These simple but sweet heart shaped cookies are a great little Valentine surprise for kiddos.
Make Valentine’s Day morning and the month of February leading up to the holiday special for your littles with this mini heart waffle maker. I LOVE that it is mini so it doesn’t take up too much kitchen real estate. It would also be cute to bring out and use on birthdays etc.
This is so special! I’m honestly not sure if I’ve ever seen anything like this before. Filled with pressed wildflowers and sugar flowers, every handmade envelope sugar cookie made by Acquolina Catering is glazed with fondant. Customize your sweet gift by adding a special message.
Legend has it that the original Sailor’s Valentines were made shipboard by sailors returning to England from the West Indies. Can you imagine receiving such a beautiful, detailed Valentine? Three similar sailors valentine’s are hanging on the wall behind me in this post.
Estelle Colored Glass makes the most beautiful colored glass available! I’ve gifted their stunning colored glass cake stands before and they were a massive hit! These champagne coups are so special too.

I ordered these Valentines for Rowan to give out to his little preschool classmates. I am so excited about them! Rowan loves all cars, trains, and locomotives so I thought they were just perfect for him.
Valentine’s Day for you and your littles can be extra special this year, no matter what the state of the world is.
In fact, Valentine’s Day is often thought of as a commercialized, fluff holiday but I really think it’s so much more than that. Sure, it’s a great excuse to treat yourself, your galentines, your love, or your littles to a nice gift. However, it’s really a beautiful opportunity to stop, slow down, and show some appreciation for the people you love most in this world. For me, that’s Edwin and Rowan. I can’t imagine living a single day without them.
This Valentine’s Day, I encourage y’all to not only shower your loved ones is sweet gifts but to really shower them in boundless amounts of love and endless hugs, kisses, and snuggles. Cheers to Valentine’s Day 2022! I hope you enjoy the holiday and I hope this Valentine’s Day gift guide gave you some gifting inspiration! When all else fails, Valentine’s Day pajamas are always a hit (just like the precious Valentine’s print pajamas Rowan and I are wearing in this post).
