Oh my Heavens, the word “paradise” was created for Harbour Island. It is one of the most colorful, breathtaking, yummy, and special places I’ve ever been. I shared a complete Harbour Island travel guide so definitely take a peak as this little Bahamas island is not to be missed! I can’t even begin to tell you how adorable this pineapple fence is in person! When packing for Harbour Island, I was really inspired by bright and pastel colors, prints, straw accessories, tassel and pompom details, and beachy silhouettes. When going on beach vacations, I tend to bring lots of stripes as well as blue and white pieces but a tropical beach vacation opened up my usual beach wardrobe so much more. Insert: this tasseled lime, peach, and white Roberta Roller Rabbit beach cover-up.
I wore my Roberta Roller Rabbit beach cover-up for a full day at the pink sand beach (yes, the sand on the beach is pink!) and to a beachside lunch at Sip Sip. I loved the way it flowed in the beach breeze and was so light and airy over my swimsuit in the warm Caribbean sun. My current color combo is sold out but luckily it comes in so many more similar colors. In addition, Roberta Roller Rabbit makes other similar beach cover-ups that are just as cute!
My pale pink hat is a new addition to my closet thanks to my favorite Charleston boutique, Hampden Clothing. The soft pink hue makes it different from other straw hats so it had my name all over it. I also really love this similar pink-inspired straw hat from the same designer, Lack of Color. Their hats are so reasonably priced too compared to some other contemporary hat designers.
I kept my other accessories for this outfit pretty simple with a straw Five Story bag, pink J.Crew sunnies (similar, similar), and white Frye slides (last seen here, more sizes here and here). My straw bag is currently out of stock but I found a few near identical purses for you to choose from: one, two, three.
