I absolutely cannot believe that our honeymoon is over as of today! While it’s great to be home in Charleston, it is bittersweet knowing that the once in a lifetime trip that we planned for so long and looked forward to for so long is over. I don’t mean to be melodramatic and I hope we will have the opportunity to return back to the Caribbean again.
There is nothing quite like the honeymoon mind frame. There is absolutely no one in this world that I would rather travel with and spend every waking minute with than Edwin. My did I get lucky! Keep reading for more on my honeymoon wardrobe including this outfit of pink and white stripes at Sugar Beach.
I had so much fun packing for our Caribbean honeymoon and am so excited to share all the outfits I wore that we photographed (starting with this beach day outfit I shared last week!). I got so many sweet messages on Instagram throughout our trip from y’all commenting on how much you loved seeing all the colorful things I wore. So I hope you enjoy these blog posts too! I always sincerely love hearing from y’all.
Plus I especially appreciated all the love and warm wishes during our honeymoon! Our hotel, Sugar Beach, was so serene but full of pops of color and lush vegetation. A lot of the buildings on the property are painted a pale pink so I loved playing that color up with this adorable pink and white striped dress from Elizabeth Wilson (also comes in navy). Everything Elizabeth Wilson designs is so flirty and feminine… is anyone the least bit surprised that I was so drawn to this stripe dress with bows on the sleeves!? I found a few more adorable pink and white stripe dresses for y’all here:
I only packed a few purses and shoes on our honeymoon and rotated them through all my outfits so expect to see some lovely repeat offenders. I can never get enough of the Cult Gaia Arc Bag and am always amazed at how many compliments I get on it from both men and women (Edwin is literally shocked by it, ha!). My purse is the small size but did you know it also comes in a mini version (see this similar Cult Gaia purse of mine to reference the mini size)?
A comfortable easy to slip on espadrilles is hard to beat in my book. Y’all last saw me wear these soft pink espadrilles (more sizes available here, on sale here, also love these) here but you can expect to be seeing me wear them all summer long. I also love these three similar pairs:
