Happy Monday! This post, Jackson Hole Summer, from 2016 always gets a lot of love from y’all so I updated all the links and am re-sharing it! If you stumbled on this post looking for information on Jackson Hole in the summer, then be sure to read my comprehensive Jackson Hole Travel Guide and sneak a peak at this post for some recommendations in Grand Teton National Park.
Jackson Hole just might be my favorite place on the planet. I swear that I’ve never seen anywhere as beautiful! My family and extended family has always gone to Jackson Hole the same week every summer to visit my grandparents. I have to say, it is up there as one of my favorite weeks of the whole year. A Jackson Hole summer trip guarantees an incredible summer, year in and year out.
I fell in love with this floral dress the moment I laid eyes on it.
I knew it would be perfect for a Jackson Hole summer day because the orange, yellow, green, and blue floral pattern fits right in with the abundant wild flowers all over Jackson. Jackson’s wildflowers are truly a sight to see! This dress is old from Tularosa. But I rounded up a bunch of other floral dresses (+ a few non-floral options) that would fit right in in Jackson Hole…
Midi and Long Dresses:
With fall just a hop, skip, and jump away, I really liked the idea of wearing this dress as a transitional piece from summer to fall. The orange, yellow, and green colors make it autumn appropriate and it looks great with a military jacket (more sizes here) layered over it. If you aren’t ready to toss on a jacket yet then start with a military vest. I picked out two vests that get an A+ from me: one, two.
I have two friends that are attending weddings in Jackson Hole this summer. What a dream wedding guest destination! While searching for dresses for this post, I found a few that I think would be absolutely gorgeous for a Jackson Hole wedding or for a wedding in any other mountain destination. I really adore these eight options: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Every summer, we fill our time in Jackson Hole with tons of outdoor activities!
We do it all, including scenic rafting, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, hiking, bike riding, golfing, tennis, horseback riding, and more. There is so much to do in Jackson with Teton National Park, the Snake River, and the Grand Tetons at your fingertips. My siblings, cousins, and I go a bit overboard! In my Jackson Hole Travel Guide, I spill on all of my activity recommendations and share the companies and guides we use for everything!
This outfit was shot in Teton National Park with an old pink (!) home from Mormon Row and the Grand Tetons in the background. Does it get any prettier? My friend, Carrie, shot these photos. She always has amazing ideas for where to shoot in Jackson!
