My family spends every Christmas with my grandfather and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins every year in Jackson Hole, WY. I love nothing more than a white Christmas and love our tradition of skiing Christmas afternoon! In this post on how we’re creating holiday traditions, I mentioned that our Christmas is going to look very different this year. We sadly won’t be skiing but, because I’ve spent my life asking for wintery Christmas gifts, I wanted to put together this post, Gift Guide: Gifts for the Snow Bunny, for anyone gifting someone anticipating a snowy holiday!
P.S. We snapped these photos last month when we were in Montana for a wedding. There was snow on the ground the first week of November, which was so magical!
Gift Guide: Gifts for the Snow Bunny
01Après Ski Embroidered Cashmere Sweater
When I saw this adorable après ski embroidered cashmere sweater on Abby Capalbo’s Instagram (@abbycapalbo), I knew it would be perfect for this gift guide. I can’t think of a cuter Christmas gift for your favorite skier!
I adore a fair isle sweater in the winter. This sweater merges classic fair isle style with pretty feminine design. Plus, it’s crafted from merino wool for a cozy feel you’ll want to indulge in all winter long.
I love this sophisticated wool wrap with faux fur trim. I picture bundling up in it by the fire while snow lightly falls outside. It also comes in black and white. This would be a fantastic gift for mom too!
This über cozy teddy coat makes for such a great gift for your favorite snow bunny. It says it runs true to size but I actually recommend considering sizing down a size. There’s no better time to scoop this coat up than now because it is currently 40% off!
This jacket might be my favorite Patagonia jacket I own. It is downright cozy and warm! I wear it on its own or as a layer under other down jackets. This is a super practice yet great gift idea! P.S. if you search “Meet Maybelle” on my blog, you’ll see me wearing this jacket.
Now, this is a jacket I have my eye on and a jacket on my personal holiday wish list! I love the ultra cozy sherpa material + the punchy yellow trim and pocket. It also comes in three other more subtle color combos.
I am beyond in love with this cropped down jacket! It comes in 5 colors but I’m partial to this pink and the sky blue colors. It’s super warm, water-repellent, and wind-resistant all while being super chic. In my opinion, this is a no brainer gift for your fave snow bunny!
This is the end all be all jacket! Canada Goose is known for having the absolute warmest jackets around. If you’re gifting someone who lives in the mountains, the northeast, or the midwest who you know is always freezing and if you have a significant budget, then this is the #1 gift you should gift. I promise, your recipient will be over the moon with gratitude!
This sumptuous faux fur neck warmer is deliciously cozy and chic. Pro tip: buy one for yourself and give another to your best friend! It also comes in 4 other beautiful colors including a classic black.
Nothing says snow bunny like a snowy white hat. I love this particular hat because the faux fur pouf gives the ultra-soft hat plenty of personality! It also comes in three other neutrals and makes for the perfect stocking stuffer.
It’s all in the bag.! This plush faux fur purse is perfect for festive fêtes and formal affairs! It is also an incredible price compared to some similar designer versions I’ve seen. Any snow bunny will love this!
Bean Boots are a must! I think they are the ultimate comfortable and practical yet completely cute winter shoe. I broke down everything you need to know to buy Bean Boots… just click the shop now button to see!
Freezing temperatures don’t have to be an excuse to sacrifice style. Lined with microfleece and trimmed with genuine shearling, these waterproof leather boots are perfect for those days when fun plans meet bad weather!
These all-weather ankle booties to so swoon-worthy! Handcrafted in Italy with a full shearling lining and a pretty almond toe shape, these are a knockout warm and chic shoe for the snow bunny in the city.
A classic leather loafer featuring a shearling lining and vamp… genius! My mom has these loafers and I just die over them. Any snow bunny would have a huge smile on her face after opening these on Christmas morning!
Perfect for setting a cozy scene in the absence of (or in addition to) a roaring fireplace in a living room or study! Notes of rose, tobacco leaf, fir needle, and cedarwood fill any room with a romantic aroma.
I put this coffee table book out on display every winter. The whole book is a nod to the overarching culture of skiing. It’s one of my all time favorites! The Stylish Life: Skiing is a nostalgic and spectacular journey through alpine history and beyond with a look at sport’s founders, superstars, influence on design and entertainment, and the evolution of its resorts, fashion, equipment, and much more.
Aspen is such a special place! If you’ve been there, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. I had the privilege of getting to visit Aspen growing up and through college with my best friend’s family. This book is a go-to gift of mine to anyone who loves Aspen, Colorado, or ski culture. P.S. I also love the coffee table book Aspen Style by Aerin Lauder!
The Carry On Cocktail Kit is one of the best stocking stuffers around. When I’m in the snow, my go-to drink is ALWAYS a hot toddy! That’s why I love this little gift idea. Nothing warms the body up like a hot toddy.
Does anyone else keep sweets in a pocket of their ski jacket? I always love having little treats on hand to pop in my mouth while on chair lifts. I highly suggest slipping these candy cane caramels in the stocking of anyone you’ll be skiing with this Christmas!
For cozy winter nights in, snow bunnies love to cook up delicious comfort food. That’s why I adore this cast-iron French over as a gift idea for snow bunnies who love the kitchen. French ovens are so versatile!
This is such a thoughtful cozy gift idea for snow bunnies who love to cook! One of my favorite parts of Christmas is Christmas morning pancakes, waffles, and cinnamon rolls so this gift would fit right in!
These handwoven kitchen towels are my absolute favorite! My mom counts them as her favorite too! They are so beautifully made and such a practical and lovely addition to any kitchen… especially a cozy, festive one!
For the snow bunny with chic taste in holiday decor, gift a Simon Pearce Evergreen Tree or Tree Set. Handmade in Vermont, these glass blown trees are beautiful decor pieces to have on display all winter long (aka well past the holidays).
What snow bunny wouldn’t love this luxe sheepskin throw? This carefully crafted sheepskin adds a touch of luxury to the home. Use it to throw over a chair or at the base of the bed for an ultra-cozy plush touch!
