If you aren’t mad for plaid, then I’m determined to change your mind with today’s post! I mean, what’s not to love about plaid!? I was so excited to wear this outfit once autumn hit so I’m pleased to share fall’s prettiest plaid blazer today! Plaid blazers are such a smart look and are super in right now; although I find plaid blazers and plaid coats to be more of a timeless look than a seasonal trend. Alas, they are particularly sought after right now! Do you remember this plaid blazer from last year? I love the pop of color in this plaid blazer and can’t get enough of the way it matched some of the early fall foliage in Maine. Pretty, pretty, pretty! Also, keep in mind that the blazer has a slightly oversized fit (I’m wearing a size 2 for reference).
Plaid blazers are a versatile look!
They can be worn from day to night and from work to play. I rounded up some of my favorite plaid blazers and coats out right now for you below.
Year after year, I’m repeatedly drawn to burgundy in the fall! I decided to make the red stripe of my blazer pull toward the burgundy side of the color wheel by styling it over an easy rust colored tee and by carrying a mini burgundy satchel. Also, my purse is from last year but I found a few similar styles for you here, here, and here.
Riding boots are a fall staple.
No questions asked! I swoon over the beautiful smooth leather of my Frye riding boots. I’ve had them for three years now and don’t plan on replacing them anytime soon! Furthermore, riding boots are a perfect example of a wardrobe item. It makes sense to invest in to get a great pair that will last instead of a pair that will fall apart by the end of winter.
