Bookshelf Styling on Rhyme & Reason

Bookshelf Styling Inspiration

filed under:

I don’t have a bookshelf in my apartment but I would love to have one! My family’s house has a room walled with built-in bookshelves so I’ve always loved the look. Nowadays, Pinterest is a never-ending source of interior design inspiration. I’m always pinning to my home boards (I have 12 different ones) for ideas for my apartment and for my future dream house (of course!). Lately, I’ve been very drawn to bookshelves on Pinterest and the many different ways to style them and fill them in. I love that they can be functional and decorative. I have a handful of great bookshelves pinned to this interior decor board. Bookshelves themselves can be exciting to find – I love this white one (and this one for a third of the price!), this wrought iron one, this gold one, and this ladder one. I picked out a plethora of pieces below that would look perfect styled on any bookshelf. I have some of the pieces (like this faux flower and this coffee table book) around my apartment on dressers and coffee tables.

  1. Love all these images! I am the exact same way, always pinning home inspiration yet I don’t even have a home currently..I am still in college! I just hope that pinterest is around for long enough so that I can always have my inspiration boards to look back on.

  2. Wonderful ideas. I’m pining for the little wooden side table next to the grey sofa. Do you know where that’s from? xoxo
