To beat the winter blues, I’m sharing an outfit with a fresh take on winter! There’s nothing like the clean slate the new year brings. I always feel like I have a clearer mind, more positive outlook, and a cleaner closet. Today’s outfit features a few beautiful blue and white pieces that can be worn now (and all through winter as well as spring) to give your wardrobe a refresh and a break from the dark tones of winter. If you remember this post, then you know that I don’t shy away from wearing blue and white this time of year, why should I!? Keep reading for some to die for white and cream sweaters as well as a few lovely pastel coats to get you through winter and into spring.
I believe that a white, cream, or ivory sweater is one of life’s simply joys. There are few things I slip into that bring me more of a smile. No matter my mood, when I step out in a cozy white sweater, I instantly feel better and feel lighter on my feet. My Jenni Kayne turtleneck sweater was one of my favorite purchases in 2018! I rounded up a dozen or so other white, cream, and ivory sweaters that are perfect for the months ahead (and year round really, depending on weather!).
I’ve worn this navy purse multiple times now on the blog, as seen here, here, and here. It’s just so darn versatile that I find myself reaching for it time and time again. I love that it can be carried as a clutch or as a crossbody bag. The mini monogram in the corner brings it all together for me! In fact, there are a few other similar crossbody purses from Mark & Graham I’m loving right now too…
How about a fresh pair of sparkly earrings like mine to kick off 2019 with!?
As promised, here are a few coats and jackets in happy colors to make your winter a little brighter…! P.S. I absolutely adore this blue coat that is along the lines of the coat I’m wearing in this post. It will be adorable all winter and spring long. (Don’t forget that spring weather often calls for dresses with coats layered on top).
