Jackson Hole just might be my favorite place on the planet. I swear that I’ve never seen anywhere as beautiful! My family and extended family go to Jackson Hole the same week every summer to visit my Grandpa and, I have to say, it is up there as one of my favorite weeks of the whole year. A Jackson Hole summer trip guarantees an incredible summer, year in and year out.
I fell in love with this floral dress the moment I laid eyes on it. I knew it would be perfect for a Jackson Hole summer day because the orange, yellow, green, and blue floral pattern fits right in with the abundant wild flowers all over Jackson.
With fall just a hop, skip, and a jump away, I really liked the idea of wearing this dress as a transitional piece from summer to fall. The orange, yellow, and green colors make it autumn appropriate and it looks great with a military jacket (similar) layered over it.
Like every year, we did tons of outdoor activities including scenic rafting, white water rafting, hiking, fly fishing, cliff jumping, paragliding, golf, and bike riding. We also cocktailed outside every evening… does that count as an outdoor activity!? There is so much to do in Jackson with Teton National Park, the Snake River, and the Grand Tetons at your fingertips. My siblings, cousins, and I go a bit overboard!
This outfit was shot in Teton National Park with an old pink (!) home from Mormon Row and the Grand Tetons in the background. Does it get any prettier? Carrie, my photographer in Jackson, always has amazing ideas for where to shoot!
