Sweater weather means lots of cozy, comfy, and chunky sweaters. I always say that sweaters are the bread and butter of my fall and winter wardrobe because I wear them just about every day. So, when I was in New York last month and saw this embellished cozy sweater at the new NYC Sézane store (it’s a dream, please go when in the city!), I knew I had to have it. It’s cozy, slightly oversized, and still completely chic. I styled it here with black jeans (similar for less) but I think it would look equally as adorable with a slip skirt or flouncy skirt. I also really love this other cozy gray sweater from Sézane and this lovely cream sweater from the French line.
I really gravitate toward gray in the fall and winter as, quite possibly, my go-to neutral tone. To me, gray always feels comforting like home so I wear it a lot, especially in sweater form. Since my embellished cozy sweater is selling out so quickly, I found a dozen or so similar sweaters for y’all (all under $300 – almost!):
Over the knee boots are honestly a fall and winter staple. I wear them so often for warmth and for the sliming look. They look great over jeans or under skirts and dressed. You can go a couple ways with over the knee boots… you can invest in a really quality pair that will last your years, you can go for an inexpensive style (similar) that still masters the look, or you can meet in the middle.
